Very easy to install — there are lots of videos available online to show you how. I had both ear cushions replaced in less than 5 minutes. Unlike some others, I had no problem putting the headphones back into the Bose case, the headset fit perfecting even with the replacement cushions. Since I just purchased these, I have no idea as to durability, but the headset appears to function just as well as it did before.
